They are essentially flying ferocious zeppelins of tentacles, skin and gas. They have been reported to eat a whole flock of birds in one go. These things are huge! They can grow up to 10m from front to back and 18m from top to bottom. No-one knows, where they came from, just that one day they were and they were many...

I did this for Teen Challenge #32: Alien Mount and Rider, but in the process I discarded the rider. because I couldn't think of a way to tolerably depict it.

This is also my latest sketch, which I found to be of enough quality to submit here. I'm learning to use my Wacom tablet and Photoshop to which I haven't really payed much attention ever since I have them. Painting is also the thing I'm learning here. I couldn't achieve an interesting and a differing color range, but I'll try to do that in some other sketch.
